Watch Joe “Flood” Rossi on WCVB TV’s Forecasting our Future

Recently, JFIB’s CEO, Joe “Flood” Rossi, was on WCVB television’s special “Forecasting our Future”.  The hour-long special features segments on different climate disasters such as fires, tornados, and floods. 

In Joe’s segment, Joe spoke on the importance of flood insurance, how mitigation can lower costs, and how Hurricane Ian could impact the insurance market.  “The No. 1 factor that somebody can do is elevate their home, and it has only been emphasized even more under Risk Rating 2.0. The higher the elevation the home, the lower the risk and the lower the cost of flood insurance,” Joe said.
